History
With a turnover that exceeds £25m, A&B Engineering is one of the North’s largest privately owned Building Services Companies. We have been operating for over 50 years and were incorporated in 1978.
Based in Merseyside, within a mile of the M62, we are ideally located for projects across Merseyside, the Wirral, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and North Wales.
We have seen a huge growth in turnover as a company over the last 10 years which has led to us being recognised as a market leader in a number of fields. However, we have not forgotten our past and we have remained focussed on providing the best Mechanical and Electrical Building Services solution to all our valued clients. We have an excellent client retention rate and this is maintained through our genuine desire to succeed to the benefit of the client and the project – a factor which has been essential to our success.
Capabilities
We offer a multi discipline service, including design and build, for the installation of Electrical and Mechanical systems for new build, refurbishment or fit out projects, ranging in value from £50k to £10m (Mechanical & Electrical).
The services we can offer include Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Building Management Lighting, Power Security and Data, Lightning protection, Bio Mass, CHP and Solar power all of which can be offered as design and install through our in house team of engineers. People
The workforce is the foundation stone of any organisation and A&B Engineering is no different. We are justifiably proud of our people and we believe that our employees have proved themselves over the years to be second to none.
A&B Engineering currently employ over 230 staff with many individuals having worked for the company all of their working lives – our staff turnover is minimal.
We are investing in our own and the industries future through our Apprenticeship Policy, which means we have over 40 apprentices (Technical and Craft) with the company at any one time.
We are investing in our people through continuous training and development. We have spent over £100,000 in the last 3 years alone on H&S training, and this will continue to ensure our and the companies future.
