A & B Engineering are delighted to begin work at St Damiens School in Tameside.
Inspiredspaces and its joint venture partners in the Local Education Partnership (LEP) have reached financial c lose on the £300 million Tameside Building Schools fo rther Future (BSF) programme, which forms part of the UK Government's £45 billion Building Schools for the Future Programme.
The LEP, which comprises Tameside MBC, Building Schools for the Future Investments Ltd and Carillion , will initially deliver twelve secondary and special schools, at a capital cost of £173m in the current wave of the BSF programme. This wave will include two privately financed schools on which Carillion have began construction in March 2009; A & B Engineering are providing all Mechanical and Electrical Services to St Damiens.
All 12 schools in the current wave of the BSF programme with be completed by the end of 2012. A & B will endeavour to be an integral part of this.
