Charity Abseil

150 ft Abseil - 18^th November 07 Mersey Tunnel Woodside Ventilation.

Richie and Andy, two slightly deranged (or drunk) employees of A&B Engineering agreed to undergo a terrifying 150ft abseil, neither person had ever tried anything like this before, or from reports is likely to try again. Despite the wind and the cold weather they both completed the challenge successfully.

The main reason for the challenge was to raise money for the Echo ‘Sunrise Appeal' which supports local charities - many thanks to all those who agreed to provide sponsorship for the challenge.

As the combined sponsorship raised was over £500 they each qualified a free helicopter flight these flights were then given away via a raffle to a kind sponsor of the day.
