Mechanical:
The works consisted of a fully air-conditioned dining area achieved via ceiling mounted fan coil units ducted to supply air grilles located throughout the restaurant. The dx fan coil units are connected via refrigeration pipework to the externally mounted condensing units. The fully glazed frontage to the restaurant is a spectacular feature. A trench heating system was designed and installed to run the length and match the unusual shape of the glazing and prevent any cold draught to the diners.
A fully fitted kitchen, complete with gas and domestic services included a kitchen canopy extract system that is routed through a service riser to the 6th floor roof area.
Electrical:
From a base build A&B provided a full sub-mains LV infrastructure to localised distribution boards. The project included for lighting and emergency lighting together with small power and mechanical services supplies throughout. Particular detail was given to ceiling lighting on both floors to provide ambience lighting and scene setting.
Specialist installations included public address system, EPOS, fully addressable fire alarm system and security system.
