A&B Engineering worked well with the team on this demanding project. The Mechanical installation included the Performance Hall Ventilation system which was installed to provide supply and extract ventilation to the Performance Hall area. All ductwork was acoustically insulated to ensure the noise levels were kept to a minimum. Cooling to the space was achieved via an external chiller, which feeds a cooling coil on the air handling unit. Heating to the space is achieved via a heating coil within the AHU fed from a gas fired condensing boiler located in the plantroom. The temperature to the space is controlled via a series of sensors located at various levels within the 300 seat hall, all of which are connected into the building BMS system.
