A&B Engineering installed the mechanical services package which included several innovative installations for the company. The heating to the building was generated via two Viessman boilers located within the roof top plant room. Heating circuits included a constant temperature circuit to 2 No. Air handling units, a conventional variable temperature circuit to first floor perimeter radiators and a further constant temperature circuit to a series of under floor heating manifolds that heated the ground floor changing rooms, gymnasium and physiotherapy rooms.

Domestic services included hot and cold water distribution to changing rooms each with a range of showers fed from Meynell mixing valves. Ventilation from the roof top plant serve ground and first floor including the Kitchen, Servery, Lecture Theatre and Changing Rooms. The mechanical services package included the supply installation and commissioning of a hydrotherapy pool.

Mechanical & Electrical:

Approximately one year after the completion of the main project A&B Engineering were part of the design and build team that constructed the indoor sports facility adjacent to the main academy building. High level radiant heating was complimented with wall mounted input/extract ventilation fans. Electrical services were designed and installed to suit the requirements of the indoor facility
