Introduction:
In association with Hannan Associates we have successfully carried out a number of projects for the Facilities Department at Manchester United Football Club. Several of the projects have been completed during periods when the day to day operation of the football club must not compromised and close liaison with main contractor, facilities department and health and safety representatives has been essential.
Mechanical:
The refurbishment of the South Stand to provide new lounge facilities, kitchen facility to each level and modern press facilities was a difficult project to engineer and install due to limited options for siting plant. It was however with the design input of Hannan Associates a successful contract carried out in a short period prior to the start of the season.
Similar restrictions applied at Carrington Training facility when the retro-fit of air conditioning to the recently opened complex was completed during a short contract period prior to staff returning for pre-season training.
