Introduction:
The Breeze Close NHS project is a new build three storey medical drop in centre complete with medical consultation rooms and doctors surgeries.
Mechanical:
The project was completed with Galliford Try before the required handover date and fully furnished with a gas fired central heating system of panel and LST radiators fed from a second floor plantroom, tempered supply and extract ventilation, dirty and toilet extract systems, public health drainage and rainwater systems, DH&CWS feeding HTM rated sanitary and brassware all controlled through the building management systems.
Electrical:
In addition to the general lighting and power installation a fully comprehensive security and fire alarm package was provided this included Nurse/Staff Call system, Panic Alarm linked direct to monitoring station, intruder alarm & CCTV.
A&B worked closely with the Main Contractor and client to achieve the finishes to individual Consulting and Treatment rooms accommodating the required furniture layouts integrated with the electrical services.
