Introduction:

Radisson S.A.S is a nine storey 194 bed city centre hotel including business class rooms and a number of suites, the hotel also has extensive conference and banqueting facilities with separate bar area, top class restaurant and public access bar, it also has a business centre and access to the ‘Ark' health and fitness club including swimming pool which was also completed as part of this contract.

Mechanical:

Each hotel room was fully fitted out with pod bathrooms, fan coiled unit conditioned ventilation systems served from a rooftop plant room, incorporating LTHW gas fired boilers, 8 modular air handling units, chilled water units and a combined heating and power unit, all controlled from a complete BMS system. Other installations include DHWS, full public health drainage, supply/extract ventilation system including smoke extract/control, swimming pool water treatment and a natural gas service for the kitchens, general heating and hot water requirements.

Electrical:

The hotel has an extremely effective lighting installation greatly assisting in the very striking appearance of the interior of the hotel, the lighting scheme is continued into the bedrooms and extensive conference and banqueting facilities, the hotel also has a complete fire alarm system, data / telephone network, large quantity of supplies to the kitchens, CCTV / Security, checking in computer system linked to bedroom heating, high specification Audio and Visual facilities to meeting and conference rooms, LV panel and distribution.
