Design

In 2009, A&B Engineering completed the Mechanical and Electrical services installation to this brand new £9million development for Sefton Council.

The building will play an important role for the UK Paralympic infrastructure in the North West in 2012.

Working together with SeftonCouncil and Faber Maunsell, A&B Engineering installed all the services to the conference centre, the cafe, conference facility, gymnasium, changing rooms, residential area, boat storage and workshop areas.

The building received a BREEAM very good rating, innovations included a Biomass boiler, high thermal performance and rainwater harvesting.
