Stockport Exchange is a flagship development which will include a 115 bed hotel and 50,000 sq ft five storey office building with ground floor retail space and a new public space. This project by Muse Developments in partnership with Stockport Council will bring new jobs and opportunities for local residents and businesses in the area.We are delighted at the appointment by Eric Wright Construction for us to design and install the complete Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services, which will include :
External Electrics, Gas and Water, Power Distribution, Sub-metering, Lightning Protection, Internal and External Lighting, Lighting Controls, Lightening Protection, Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Detection, VRF Heating and Cooling, Beer Store Cooling, Electric Heating, Ventilation Installation, Kitchen Extract, Internal Gas Distribution, Hot and Cold Water Services, Sanitary and Above Ground Drainage, Rainwater Systems, Thermal Insulation Commissioning and Building Management Systems (BMS)
As with our other projects underway in Stockport it gives us further opportunities to deploy a number of our workforce who reside in Stockport and the surrounding area. It also allows us to fulfill our commitments to create fully indentured Apprenticeships locally that adds to our already considerable number of Apprentices currently employed by us. We can also engage with our Stockport and Manchester based supply chain and all components and specialist trade partners will benefit from being appointed on a scheme on their doorstep.
This £ 3.8 Million Mechanical and Electrical package adds to our previous experience of Hotels and Offices in and around the north west. It is a further project with Eric Wright Construction and a project where we can continue with our excellent working relationship and our growing portfolio of providing, safe, high quality projects together and this is something we are all very proud of indeed here at A&B.
The scheme with be another project being designed and drawn in 3D using the Revit platform and adds to our very impressive portfolio of completed BIM schemes.
