Meet Rachel Manning ~ Document Control Manager

In 2024, we were delighted to welcome Rachel Manning to the A&B Engineering family. Rachel joined us as a Document Control Manager in our O&M (Operation & Maintenance) Department, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong passion for challenging industry norms. We’re thrilled to have her on board and excited to see the impact she’ll make within our team.

Shortly after joining, Rachel attended the Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering event in London alongside all our lovely ladies—an experience that perfectly reflected her values and commitment to encouraging diversity within the industry.

What inspired you to pursue a career in your current industry or field?
"I’ve always had a desire to challenge stereotypes and break down barriers in male-dominated industries. After achieving my English degree, I wanted to bring my skills into the construction field and show that there is value in diverse perspectives and backgrounds. I hope to encourage more women into Construction, as it is full of incredibly talented individuals who are determined to provide equal opportunity for growth and advancement."
